Never recommend a treatment you would not have yourself. It sounds small. In this industry it turns out to be the whole thing.
Why we opened
We kept meeting women who had been sold something, rather than helped.
As the aesthetics industry grew, so did the number of people offering treatments after very limited training. We watched clients arrive having chosen a treatment from social media before anyone had properly looked at their skin — and we watched some of them regret it.
At The Redefined exists to do the opposite. Nearly nineteen years of NHS nursing sits behind every consultation. We ask about your history before your wish list. We say no when no is the right answer. And we would genuinely rather do less, do it well, and be asked back.

What we believe
Your face is not the place to look for the cheapest option.
Price should never be the only thing you compare. Ask whether your practitioner is medically trained, whether they carry out a thorough consultation, and whether they are recommending something because it is right for you — or because it is easy to sell.
A consultation is a conversation, not a sales pitch.
Sometimes the treatment you came in asking for is not the best solution. Sometimes the answer is a simple skincare routine, or waiting until the time is right. That is a good outcome, not a lost sale.
Nobody should be able to tell.
Great aesthetics should not make people think you have had work done. They should simply make people think you look well. Natural results are not a lesser ambition — they are the harder one.
Education first, always.
The more informed you are before a treatment, the happier you will be with the result afterwards. We would rather spend twenty minutes explaining than have you leave uncertain.
