As the aesthetics industry has grown, so has the number of people offering treatments after very limited training. Before you book anywhere — including with us — these are the questions worth asking.

1. Who will actually treat me, and what is their background?

Ask about their qualifications and experience. A healthcare background, such as nursing, means training in anatomy, hygiene and recognising when something is not right. Our team has nearly twenty years of NHS nursing experience behind it.

2. Will I have a proper consultation first?

A responsible practitioner will always want to understand your concerns and medical history before recommending anything. Prescription-only treatments should only ever be prescribed after a face-to-face consultation.

3. Will you tell me if a treatment is not right for me?

A good practitioner is comfortable saying no, or suggesting something simpler. If every answer is “yes, and you need more”, be cautious.

4. What products do you use?

Ask what you are being treated with and where it comes from. You are entitled to know.

5. What happens if something goes wrong?

Every treatment carries some risk. Ask how complications are managed, whether you can contact the clinic after treatment, and what aftercare you will be given.

6. Can I see real results?

Look for unedited photographs, taken in the same light, shared with consent. You can see ours here.

Trust your instinct

You should never feel rushed or pressured. If something does not feel right, it is always fine to walk away and think about it.
