“People keep asking if I am okay.”

Dark circles that concealer only deepens. Hair that sheds more than it used to. PRP uses your own platelets to repair the areas that never respond to creams — nothing synthetic is introduced at all.

Why it happens

Dark circles are not always tiredness — and that matters enormously.

Sometimes the cause is volume loss, so shadow falls where it did not before. Sometimes it is thin, poor-quality skin letting the vessels beneath show through. Sometimes it is genuine pigmentation. Each of those needs a completely different treatment, which is why buying an eye cream before knowing which one you have is usually money wasted. The same principle applies on the scalp.

How it works, in thirty seconds

01

A small blood draw

Taken exactly as it would be at your GP surgery. A few minutes, and the least eventful part of the appointment.

02

Separated in the centrifuge

Your blood is spun to concentrate the platelets — the part that carries your own growth factors.

03

Returned where it is needed

Placed precisely into the under-eye, scalp or face, where it signals repair over the following weeks.

What you will notice

A brighter, less hollow under-eye
Skin quality improving, not just colour
Less shedding in the shower and on the pillow
Hair that feels thicker at the root
A gradual change — nobody can point to the day

Ideal for

Anyone told their dark circles are “just genetic”
Early thinning, before it becomes visible scalp
Clients who want nothing synthetic used
Those who have tried eye creams for years
Not suitable with certain blood or clotting conditions

What people believe · what is true

“It is a vampire facial gimmick.”

It is a straightforward medical procedure using your own blood, performed under the same sterile standards as any injection we give.

“It will hurt a great deal.”

Numbing cream first. The under-eye is sensitive, so we work slowly. Most clients find the draw the worst part, and that is over in a minute.

“I will be bruised for weeks.”

Swelling for two or three days is normal and settles. Slight bruising is possible under the eye — we would not book you the week of an event.

“One session is enough.”

It is not. Three sessions is the honest starting point, and results continue developing for months afterwards.

What to realistically expect

Day 1 – 3

Swelling and occasionally light bruising. This is expected and settles.

Week 2

The area starts to look brighter and better rested.

Month 2 – 3

Skin quality visibly improves. Hair shedding typically slows.

Month 6+

Peak result. Most clients top up once or twice a year.

Questions we are asked every week

Is it really my own blood?

Yes. Nothing is added. That is precisely why it is such a good option for clients who are cautious about injectables.

How soon will I see a difference under the eyes?

Most clients notice something around two weeks, but the honest answer is month two to three. This is a repair treatment, not a filler — it works at the pace your body works.

Will it help if my scalp is already bare?

It works best where hair is thinning rather than gone. If follicles are no longer active, we will tell you that at your assessment rather than take your money.

Can it be combined with other treatments?

Yes. PRP and microneedling together is one of the most effective combinations we offer for skin quality and scarring.

Is there anything that rules me out?

Certain blood conditions, anticoagulant medication and pregnancy. We go through your full medical history before anything is agreed.

People do not buy PRP. They buy no longer being asked whether they are tired.

We will tell you honestly whether this is right for your skin.

Every treatment here begins with a Skin Health Assessment — a proper look at your skin, a conversation about what is bothering you, and a written plan you can take away and think about.
