“I wear more makeup than I would like to.”
Uneven texture, visible pores, old acne scarring, skin that photographs badly. Microneedling is how we usually answer it — because it works with your own repair system rather than covering the problem.

Why it happens
Your skin stopped replacing collagen as quickly as it loses it.
From your mid-twenties collagen production slows a little every year. Add sun, hormones and a decade of late nights and the surface changes: texture roughens, pores look wider, old scars stop softening on their own. Nothing has gone wrong. Your skin has simply stopped keeping up.
How it works, in thirty seconds
01
A controlled prompt
Fine needles create thousands of micro-channels — too small to see, deep enough to matter.
02
Your skin responds
It does what it does best: repairs. New collagen and elastin build underneath over the following weeks.
03
The surface follows
Smoother texture, tighter-looking pores, and scars that finally begin to soften.
What you will notice
Ideal for
What people believe · what is true
“It must be painful.”
Numbing cream for thirty minutes first. Most clients describe a rough vibration rather than pain.
“I will be red for a week.”
Pink like mild windburn for a day, occasionally two. Makeup the next morning is fine.
“I am too young for this.”
It is a repair treatment, not an anti-ageing one. Clients in their twenties with scarring often do best of all.
“One session will fix it.”
It will not. Three, four weeks apart, then once or twice a year to hold it.
What to realistically expect
Day 1 – 2
Pink, warm, slightly tight. Nothing dramatic.
Week 1
A glow appears. This is the part people get attached to.
Week 4 – 6
Texture visibly evens. Collagen is still building underneath.
Month 3
The result worth photographing. Maintain twice yearly.
Questions we are asked every week
Does it actually hurt?
Numbing cream first, so most people scroll their phone through it. The forehead and jawline are the busiest areas and we slow down there.
Can I go to work the next day?
Yes. You will look like you have caught a little sun. Mineral makeup is fine after 24 hours.
HA, PRP or salmon DNA — which?
Hyaluronic acid for hydration and general quality. PRP when we want maximum repair, especially for scarring. Salmon DNA for sensitive, reactive or compromised skin. We decide together at your assessment.
How many sessions will I need?
Three is the usual starting course, four weeks apart. Deeper scarring sometimes needs six. We will tell you before you start, not halfway through.
Is it safe on deeper skin tones?
Yes, and it is often the preferred option over lasers for richly pigmented skin. Depth and aftercare are adjusted accordingly.
People do not buy microneedling. They buy smoother, healthier skin — and the confidence to be seen without makeup.
We will tell you honestly whether this is right for your skin.
Every treatment here begins with a Skin Health Assessment — a proper look at your skin, a conversation about what is bothering you, and a written plan you can take away and think about.
