“My concealer settles into every line under my eyes.”
Thin, crepey, dehydrated skin under the eyes makes you look tired even when you are not. Profhilo works on the quality of that skin — hydration, softness and bounce — rather than adding volume.

Why it happens
The skin under your eyes is the thinnest on your face. It is the first to show dehydration.
As we age, hyaluronic acid and collagen in the skin decline. Under the eyes, where the skin is already very thin, that shows as crepiness, fine lines and a dull, shadowy look. Sometimes dark circles are volume loss or pigmentation instead — which is why we assess before we recommend.
How it works, in thirty seconds
01
Assess
We check whether your concern is skin quality, volume loss or pigmentation — each needs a different treatment.
02
Inject
Small amounts are placed with great care. The product spreads gently through the skin.
03
Repeat
A second session a few weeks later builds on the first.
What you will notice
Ideal for
What people believe · what is true
“It is a filler.”
It is not. Profhilo improves skin quality and hydration. It does not add volume or change your shape.
“It will fix deep hollows.”
Deep hollows are volume loss and need a different approach. We will tell you honestly if that is what is going on.
“The results are instant.”
Hydration improves quickly, but the real change builds over the weeks after each session.
“Dark circles are always tiredness.”
Sometimes they are pigmentation, sometimes volume, sometimes skin quality. Each needs a different treatment.
What to realistically expect
Same day
Small bumps at the injection points, which usually settle within hours.
Weeks 1 – 2
Skin starts to feel more hydrated and look smoother.
Second session
Usually around four weeks later, to build on the first.
Months after
Results typically last several months; we will advise on maintenance.
Questions we are asked every week
Does it hurt?
Most people find it very manageable. We use a fine needle and work slowly and carefully around the eye.
Will I bruise?
Bruising is possible around the eyes, as with any injection. We advise avoiding blood-thinning supplements and alcohol beforehand where safe to do so.
How many sessions do I need?
A course is usually two sessions around four weeks apart, then maintenance. We confirm your plan at consultation.
How long does it last?
Results usually last several months, depending on your skin and lifestyle.
Can it be combined with PRP or polynucleotides?
Often, yes. Many under-eye concerns respond best to a combination, planned over time.
Dark circles are not always tiredness. The right treatment depends on what is actually causing them.
We will tell you honestly whether this is right for your skin.
Every treatment here begins with a Skin Health Assessment — a proper look at your skin, a conversation about what is bothering you, and a written plan you can take away and think about.
