The best skin on a big day is rarely the result of one treatment the week before. It comes from a plan that starts months ahead. Here is a realistic timeline we often use with clients.

Six months or more before

  • Book a Skin Health Assessment so we can build a plan around your date.
  • Start treatments that take time to show, such as a course of microneedling or peels for texture and pigmentation.
  • Get your daily skincare and SPF routine settled.

Three months before

  • Begin any skin booster course so results have time to build.
  • Continue your course of corrective treatments.

Four to six weeks before

  • Finish stronger treatments so your skin has time to settle.
  • Keep up hydration and gentle maintenance.

One to two weeks before

  • A Hydrafacial or dermaplaning three to five days before is ideal — enough time for any small blemish to settle.
  • Do not try anything new: no new products, no new treatments.

The week of the event

Sleep, water and your normal routine. Avoid sunbeds, waxing your face and anything with downtime. If your skin looks well and feels comfortable, you have done the most important part.

Not sure where to start? Book a Skin Health Assessment and we will look properly at your skin, explain what is happening and write you a plan — whether or not you ever book a treatment.
